You might remember I asked a few questions on KS not too long ago about a rescued 4 ft Ball Python i recieved, and needed alot of work.He had a retained eyecap, scratches all over his body, what seemed to be an RI, a few mites(or ticks?)and was very dehyrdrated and was about to shed. Well,Id just liek to thank you so much, seeing as you were the only one to reply to any of my posts, because the snake is now in perfect condition. He just shed yesterday morning( a complete shed too! came off in 3 big pieces)and his eyecaps have come off, i got rid of the mites before he shed,he was well hydrated, his scratches have gone away with some neosporin, and the old scabs peeled off with his shed, and his Respitory Infection turned out to be his way of hissing(he only does it when he gets upset,no nasal discharge, and he hardly hisses even anymore, hes getting used to being here) Im so happy! I started off with what i thought would be a serious case to work with, and he is perfect. thanks so much for helping me out!

Sorry it took me so long to reply! I am so glad that I have helped you with your BP. It's so good to hear that he's doing well.
I also rescued this male pictured below. He would get really hissy when I handled him, but has calmed down and even taken his first rat in my care, last week. Isn't it great to rescue the ignored reptiles of the world?

ooh its so great. this guy is doing so well, all i have to do to feed him now is throw a freshkilled rat in his cage, and he takes care of it. i dont even have to coax him anymore. he is doing so well,im so happy. im sure hes a wc,as i dont have much faith theres alot of adult CBs someone if just willing to get rid of around here. he actually had a cagemate, and his buddy he was living in was smaller(about the size of my 1 3/4 year BP) and was a beautiful high gold the previous owner had to force feed everyweek. well i got him to take his first rat fuzzy all by hisself ever. im so happy. hes not in with my snake of course, and is still in my work. im thinking about bringing him home too, he is beautiful. all These BPs have got my all riled up,and im looking into the different morphs and stuff now. I would love to get a reduced pattern or such,i think they are so neat. oh well, thank alot again!

I know, the morphs are gorgeous. I am looking for a good reduced female BP, and might have one by Wed. if all goes well. I love BPs and they're such awesome snakes to keep as pets. I have three right now, two large males and one smaller female. If you want to know of a GREAT forum on BPs, go to ball-pythons.net, I am on there every day, and there are really nice people who can help ya out. I have a gallery on there where you can see pics of my snakes. Check out their forums!
