i have a green tree frog,3 fire belly toads and an egyptian toad in the same 20 gallon tank for about 2 1/2 years now without any problems. As long as you have plenty of hiding spots and plants they should be fine. i dont recommend the firebelly toads unless you have a huge water dish.

I have moved my 2 tree frogs and 1 anole in a 10 gal. tank. I have a large leafy branch (bought at craft store) in there for them. It gives them plenty of places to hide. I also know a guy that has a 'mixed' tank and it's doing great

will you guys help me?i cant seem to convince this woman a 10 gallon for two GTFs and other creatures is ridiculous.

I didn't read everything yet, but I posted a reply. I'm surprised at people mixing anything with FBTs, but I also guess she's lying about the time she's had them and is mistaken on the length or species of her "GTFs."

Honestly, youd be surprised how many bored people will post in forums with controversial methods, opinions, etc., just to stir things up. If she refuses to understand what everyone is saying, than either she just wants to start trouble, or she is set in her ways and nothing you can do or say will change your mind. I have a two post limit, if you refuse to listen to reason, God bless you and your frog. But life is too short to argue with people who wont listen to reason. But from personal experience, anyone who comes to an educated well populated forum to ask for help or advice and then refuses to take the same advice he/she asked for isnt dealing with a full deck. I rarely believe people like that truly own anything other than a computer and an overactive imagination. If they are being honest in what they own and the conditions the animal is kept in, than I can only feel sorry for that animal. Unfortunately repeating ones self over and over rarely gets the listener to take note any more than the first time you said it. Some people are doomed to be ignorant.

Sheryl do you remember how I was on KS waaay back before this forum? Talk about your turn around, huh? I fought with EVERYBODY who didn't take their frog seriously, and not one time at the end of one of those arguments did the person say, "You know, Whit, you were right about the tank. It is a little small, huh?" Some people will never take their animals as seriously as we do, and arguing with them won't change a damn thing. Heck yeah it's frustrating, but it's a fact of life. I just feel bad for the animals in the whole situation.

Some ppl are just too stubborn to except advice.I found a guy a couple of miles away who was selling crix 20 for $1.00 so I went to pick up a few up and he has a large cricket colony in a filthy cage with 2 dead plants, moldy potatoes, and here's the clencher,2 gree tree frogs. He had no sticks,no cover,no live plants. The poor little frogs were way up at the cornerns to get away from the bugs.I offered to give him some tips on a better set up but he didn't want to hear it,he wouldn't even listen when I asked him to please give them some cover and humidity. It really bothers me that I could help his little froggies out but he is just too ignorante to see that he is slowly killing his pets.I'm not getting any more crix from him,I can't stand to see that nasty set-up again
