This poor little girl was almost taken "fishing" twice.

Her first owner was some kid that went around door to door asking people if they wanted his frog because he was gonna take her fishing if they didn't take her.

Her second owner felt bad for the frog, so she took her in from the kid. After keeping her for 3 years, she felt that pacmans weren't for her. She didn't want it, and nobody she knew wanted her either. Her friends told her to put the frog in the ditch or take her fishing.
She ended up contacting me though my Craig's List ad, I went straight over to get her.

So this is my new free pacman frog (cranwelli). She's a brown morph, and this is my first girl pacman frog She's so big. I'm not sure how old she is, but I think she's around 4-6 years old or so. The lady I got her from said that she had her for 3 years, but she didn't know how long the kid had her for.

I really like her, she's a real sweetie.

I want to give her a really impressive beefy sounding girl name. I haven't quite decided on one yet, but I was thinking of something like "Beulah" or "Bertha" or "Olga" or something similar like that.

So far I've got one vote for Olga, lol

She's out of her quarantine tub, and in an Exoterra 18"Cube. I think this is the first time in her life to have Coco-Fiber bedding. I haven't seen her in a couple of days now, she's just all tucked in.
The lady I got her from, had her in a 55 gallon tank with aquarium pebbles that sloped down to a water area. No fun digging in that.

"Taking her fishing" is my nice way of saying that she was going to be the bait. They were going to put a fishing hook though her and try to catch a walleye or a pike.

Mad, are you going to come all the way to Canada to get her?
I doubt that I'll ever want to re-home her, but I will let you know first if I decide to do that.

Are you still in Twin Cities? Because if you are, that's not too far from where I live.

Nice Christmas story

Sandy..how big is she? She doesn't seem large enough for a female though her head sure looks the part. Maybe it just looks that way because there's nothing near her to compare her size

Well Rosie, she's about double the size of my male albino cranwelli (6years old) and my male red Fantasy frog (3 years old). Her throat doesn't have a "beard" at all. I will take some measurements and more photos of her later.

Vlasta!! Strong Like Bull!!! LOL!!! It was the name of my L&D nurse when I was in the hospital after the c section with Anabel. She was my favorite nurse EVER!!! She would bring me water and MAKE me drink it and always made sure that Trey had eaten LOL She had a very thick Russian accent and just seemed like the type that slammed her OJ with Vodka in the morning!
