What is your ambient room temperature?
If you don't need any extra heating, then you can get just a regular house bulb for viewing, just make sure that the wattage isn't too high.

I mostly use T5 bulbs on my terrariums. The fixtures I bought at the pet shop, and the bulbs I get from Home Depot.

The temperature of the house is usually about 73-78. I use like a 60 watt bulb from about 9am to 8PM. Is that too strong? Too much time? Totally wrong? I have had frogs for several years but I never feel like I have a definitive answer on lighting, moisture etc.

What is a T5?

Thanks!
