Hey there, it's been a while eh?

I have a quick question. I have a tank that has no occupants, one of those 18 x18 x 24 (um the 24 being long). Now it's really been set up for darts, and I know I'm going to have to make some changes, like air flow and stuff, but would a red eye be comfortable in there? (I give up on darts, going to stick with tree frogs). thanks.

Also, I have a little tank, a 16 in cube, what small tree frog could I possibly look out for for in that tank? I wanted a milky, but I think that's way to small. Thanks.

Red Eyes are going to want more climbing area so if you can turn that tank and make it 24" high then it would be great for 2 or 3 frogs (though personally... I wouldn't do more than 2. My 2 were in a 29 tall and still seemed to need more space)

As for the cube... you're workin with about 17 gallons so a couple green tree frogs would work, as would reed frogs

Not really possible to turn the tank onto it's side... what with the false bottom and with the great stuff and wood stuck to the walls.

24x18x18 would be ok for 2 RETF i beleive... not the best but it would work
im sure some people toss 2 retf in 12x12x18 and they manage to live (probably stressed) which isnt a good idea btw..
the best would be 18x18x24 for 2-3 maybe 4 RETF

18x18x24 is only about 33 gallons (aquarium conversion) if you want happy and healthy I wouldn't put more than 2 in there. They will use every bit of space available to them.

H. marmorata is a fairly small frog. I would think a couple of them would be okay in the smaller tank. Mine are pretty inactive for the most part.
Mike Novy has some nice ones for $15.

thanks for the suggestions, but I"m in Canada, so Mike may be difficult to buy from! I don't want a whole ton of frogs anyways, and I have lots of time to change things, but the great stuff is kinda stuck there. I am not considering new friends until october (that's the next expo in Toronto). Sorry I didn't reply ahead of time, work cut off my access to this site, I think it's because I signed in. I'm just looking for different ideas, especially for the little tank. Thanks!
