Hey guys.

Well i need some extra cash, and have the resources so ive decided im going to breed my whites and some others im borrowing. Im going to start brumating(i guess that sthe right term) soon. How long exactly should i do this for? What temps should i lower them to? how much and how often should i feed? After all that i know i need to move them into a rain chamber like thing. I have an empty 40 gallon tank and have read to fill it with about 1.5-2 inches of water, and put very large flat rocks in the water like islands(id probably put about 4 big chunky pieces) and then the normal decor like branches and plants.background fof course. but during this time what temps should i have on the tank and the frogs? i have read to make it rain 4 hours a night for about 2 weeks. (8-12 pm)i have thought of a plan for this. I have a water pump, ill set it in the water in the tank, poke some holes in the air tubing and somehow fix it on top of the tank. put it on a timer. to prevent icky stuff form getitng in the pump, ill have a fluval filter in the water as well. ill have 3 males and one or two females, give or take what my store has in stock. ill have the frog sin quarentine while im getitng them to hibernate or whatver. so will you guys give me some pointers?thanks alot!

Honestly I was tempted to give them a try or to breed toads. Something I was thinking about was finding local buyers for tadpoles. That way I could get rid of some before haveing to invest for food, etc. I always figured I would sell tads for deep discounts compared to frogletts if I did this.

Might be worth a look into. A rarer species with lots of young might be better from a profit standpoint.

well there is somewhat of a demand in my area for them anyways. alot of people are starting to get into frogs around here, and they sell like hotcakes in my work place. feeding the babies isnt a problem, my crickets are breeding,so wa-lah. ive been wanting to do this fro awhile,i just need the last pieces so i can get this together.
