was a disappointment. Although, this being its first year, I guess my expectations were a bit higher then they should have been.

Basically, it was an "all pet" vendor and information style show. Set up in our small mall. There were dog people, cat people, small pet shop setups, corn snake people, and then me with the only amphibians.

My table attracted the most attention though. I printed out pamphlets on reed frog care, mantella care and basic dart frog care, along with one about Chytrid fungus.

here are pictures of my table. I didnt take pics of anything else, as it did not interest me.

Leucomela Setup

completed setup

I think I may do this again in a few years, once the number of vendors at least doubles..... or triples.

Nice!

I did a show once @ the Apache Junction Mall in Phoenix. The AZ Turtle and Tortoise Society put it together. Same thing.. Small turn out and only a few vendors. The next year we brought baby turtles and it was a different story!

Your table looks great though!

thanks, I'm sure it will be better in a few years.

I was really nervous with the darts and mantellas. I didnt want anyone getting too close to their tanks.

I may invest in some Azureus for a bit more color next year.

Hi, Cherisse.

My friend and I went to that, as I had seen your notice on Craig's List that you were going to be there, and I wanted to see your table. You were not there then, though. We went Saturday afternoon. What time did you leave? There was an empty table at the back by the lady with the dog clothes......

That was my table.

I left at about 1:30 or so. The lady next to me had a very cute female Peke, and we were talking about her for a long time.

It was FAR too slow for me to stay until 7 pm, and I had other things to do.

If I had known you were going to be there, I would have stuck around.

maybe next year.

Yes. Next year.

Yes, I talked to her about her dog a while, too. Nice dog. I have a Peke myself. I also liked the bantam chickens up front, and got to pet that extremely large snake, Blondie. She is gorgeous. I'd have liked to get some finches and stuff, but now is not the time.

It was put on by the small pet store there.

You didnt miss too much.
