I redecorated the 10 gallon that I have my 8 in tonight. It needed a lot of pruning, and more coco huts.

I have a 55 gallon tank/stand that I got off of Craigslist for FREE a few weeks ago that I will be fixing up for these guys soon.

I would have started it sooner, but I am taking a break from all of these "frog projects", as I am feeling a little burnt out with them. I dont want to overdo it, and not want to keep frogs anymore, so I am taking my time.

anyway, pics:

2 of the 8 inhabitants.

How many can you spot? LOL

yes, its a ten gallon.

I try to make use of all the space that I can, seeing as they wont be in their 55 for a while, I needed to make this as livable as possible for them.

thanks.

Great temp tank. That looks better than some of my permanent tanks.

I hope those milotympanum breed for you. I've heard they won't be imported anymore. (although some Mantellas that haven't been imported in awhile will be coming in instead)

It was a real, thin branch that I broke apart into two pieces, and positioned them into the background.. It is pretty functional, I usually start a bunch of vining plants off of it.

When the creeping fig took over the background, it made a sort of "cave" look..

I would imagine something similar if not identical could be made using some Great Stuff and a little imagination.

Here is a picture of it when I finished the background. There are other pieces of wood pressed into the back as well:
