We have such a large influx of new keepers lately...

Lets show off some of our tanks here. So the new folks can ask questions, and see how some experienced keepers do it.

Everyone is welcome to post photos of their tanks (please size them down to a web friendly size) You can share your advice, and questions here in a civilized manner. If you notice something awry in a tank, kindly point it out, and remember... We're all friends here.

thanks charlie. I appreciate it. Thought i'd post a few different kinds of set-ups, some with water features, just ponds, and one with no water feature and simply moss. Kristy

the plants and misting sytem will put you in the hole big time. LOL tank #1 over 1000.00 i know that( chris from dartfrogdepot did the hardscape for me), #2 maybe 500-600 to give you a ballpark figure with materials and plants etc. After chris did the hardscape for tank number one i got my ideas and started constructing and planting the rest of my vivs on my own. A lot of palnts came from antone at springvalleytropicals. It became very fun. Thanks guys, kristy

Apparently it is stolen tropical moss. I bought it from a crack head that told me he grew it. Either way, its great and grows rather nicely.

These aren't the most spectacular examples, but they're easy to make cages for FBTs. Might help some of the newbies.

Eos: Remind me when the weather cools off a bit and I will ship you some just for cost of shipping. I have several 10g tanks I am using to grow the moss, I soaked it in a bleach solution and 7 months later it has all grown back and looks good. I even have a sheet with a large fern growing out of it.

I like your tank as well. My GTF loved those little suction leaves that hold water.

I have been told it looks messy, but its easy to take care of and the frogs seem to like it. I should have taken a pic of the middle of the tank, it looks 3D.

Thanks but there are many WAY nicer than mine.

Whitie, I really like your tank. Is that just a peice of wood siliconed across the top? I bet they like hanging out up there.

That is a limb that had fallen off a tree out in the yard. It is just wedged in there. Yes, they seem to love it, I find them all lined up on that limb at night.
Thank you for the comment.
