Well, it seems a parasite has attached itself to my uterus. We expect it to be find its own way out sometime around January.

Just joking.

I am hoping for a girl.

We are still discussing names, which of course means I keep suggesting names and he keeps saying, "Naah."

I found the cutest crib comforter set ever! It came with a 3D interactive headboard that has an elephant, girrafe, turtle, duckie and frog on it. They are sort of puffed out and when you squeeze them they rattle like a plastic bag. It's the coolest ever. There is an entire nursery set. The Mobile has the same animals on it, and there is an entire line of receiving blankets and stuff to match, even some with all sorts of little frogs all over it! It's called "Little Pond"

Here is a pic I found:

The baby's room is painted a buttery yellow color.

I got some little yellow onsies with duckies and froggies on it! omg it's the greatest thing ever!

I'm really excited, however I can't wait till this morning sickness passes. So tired of hugging the toilet!

CONGRATULATIONS! Is this your first?

With my last baby (I have 3) I did his room in frogs. It was so cute. The morning sickness is AWFUL. Some people don't have much problem with it, but I was so sick the whole time with all 3 of mine. I hope yours passes. Mine never did and I literally was in bed most of the time.

Yes, this is our first. They say that only 9% of women suffer from morning sickness during the entire duration, so I guess you are one of the unlucky ones.

I can't stand saltine crackers so I have been eating dry cornflakes to combat the nausea. I think I'd be okay with it if it was only Morning Sickness, but I've been getting Afternoon Sickness and Night Sickness, too. LOL

Wow congrats! And that certainly is a great set!

My friend is PG now too and asking for names.

The ones I like for a girl: Arianna, Adrianna, Isabella, Gabriella and Natalia, and the only boy one is Brody.

I LOVE Isabelle. With an E at the end instead of A. My last child was a boy, but if he had been a girl that is the name I had picked.

Toadmother, LOL, in your diagram above it shows a tail. It really is like a tadpole right now! How appropriate for a frog forum.

Isobel was another name that he shot down. I really like the name Stella for a girl. I also like the names Julianna and Georgianna but that is a lot of name to pin on a baby.

I think Stella Isobel has a nice ring to it.

I like the names Aiden, Christopher and Justin for a boy.

Isn't it wacky that we start out with tails? I seen on the news not long ago that there is a little boy in India who was born with a tail, and they said this is a fairly common occurance. They usually cut the tail off when the child is still an infant and there is hardly any scar, so no one knows. But this little boy's village is saying that he is the reincarnation of a god and won't let the tail be cut off. Apparently one of their gods has a tail.

I like the name Mikko, I somehow doubt my husband will go for it. He rejects everything out right it seems.

The tail wasn't anything more than a peice of skin about as long as a finger and as round, and it apparently had nerve endings and was part of the circulatory system but didnt have any bones or cartalidge, it wasn't part of the spine. It just hung down like a finger off his backbone to his buttcrack. I dont think it effected his pants. He could probably wear it outside the pants or tuck it in, or have a special hole cut in the back to poke the tail out of... It was a huge point of pride to be a reincarnated god and he was celebrated and so was his mother. I wonder if when something bad happens to the village if the god baby will be blamed and sacrificed. I can see that happening. The river flooded, our crops failed, the sheep died, time to die oh he with a tail!

According to wikipedia:
Human embryos have a tail that measures about one-sixth of the size of the embryo itself. As the embryo develops into a fetus, the tail is absorbed by the growing body. The developmental tail is thus a human vestigial structure (an atavism). Infrequently, a child is born with a "soft tail", which contains no vertebrae, but only blood vessels, muscles, and nerves, although there have been a very few documented cases of tails containing cartilage or up to five vertebrae. Modern procedures allow doctors to eliminate the tail at delivery. The longest human tail on record belonged to a twelve-year-old boy living in what was then French Indochina, which measured nine inches (229 mm).[1] A sound case is that of a man named Chandre Oram who was born in India and has been famous because of his 13-inch tail. Nonetheless, it is believed it is not a true tail but a case of spina bifida.

Humans have a tail bone (the coccyx) attached to the pelvis, in the same place which other mammals have tails. The tail bone is formed of fused vertebrae, usually four, at the bottom of the vertebral column. It doesn't protrude externally, but retains an anatomical purpose: providing an attachment for muscles like the gluteus maximus.

Since you play RPG in another realm. Perhaps you could name the baby something exotic or celtic.

I wouldn't even consider an 'exotic' name, a name is a big deal. It's something the baby has to live with for the rest of it's life.

And I am Irish, so an Irish name wouldn't be that far out there. Since I am Irish, I don't consider Irish names 'out there', Aiden is an Irish boy name.

Congrats, KittenClaw! Names are hard to come up with because, like you said, they have to live with it. The only advice I can give is, don't name the baby something where the middle name is used instead of the first name.

I go by my middle name and I can't tell you how much trouble it has caused me. I work with many people in the same boat. I have actually wound up with people calling one or the other of my names as an alias! That's what happens when I put my middle name on something like a credit application.

My husband shot down most of my suggestions too. I think he basically named both of our children. I really don't remember. I think that part went out with the rest of the amnesia I got afterward.

Now that you mention it, though, I did have morning sickness all day every day with the first one. Not much with the second though.

Anyway, congrats! Hopefully now that I have slowed down a little, I will be back on here more and can keep up with what's going on. I missed every one.

Wow, that's got to be tough Stacy. Do you know if you are having a boy or a girl?

My mom said that its an old wives tale that if you have a lot of morning sickness it means that the baby will have long hair when it's born. Can anyone varify that?

When I was born I had dark brown hair that was longer and had a full head of hair! I asked my mom, she said she Never had any morning sickness!! So I guess that, "My mom said that its an old wives tale that if you have a lot of morning sickness it means that the baby will have long hair when it's born. Can anyone varify that?", is false! hehehe....

Sincerely, Andrea.

KittenClaw- It's a boy! We have a 2 yr old girl, Madison Grace, so this rounds us out. His name is Mason Alexander. I'm more bored than anything- and because of that I've added to my animal collection. My husband is about to kill me, I've aquired 3 WTF, 1 pacman, 1 beardie, 1 mali uromastyx and a female leo gecko for breeding. They keep me company......gotta have something else to look at besides Madison's movies. If I see Dora one more time I may puke.

As far as morning sickness or heartburn- I had both all through my 1st pregnancy and Madison was as bald as bald could be!

My friend's baby is named Madison, I love that name. They call her Maddie for short. They also have a daughter Erin which I always liked, especially being Irish!

For myself I like Emma Clare for a girl and Nathanial Jereth for a boy. (Jereth being the Goblin King in Labyrinth!) The problem is I like Nathanial and Nathan but not Nate.
