My hair is definitely finer then coz I can't use any product in my hair or it weighs it down. Of course... to give you all a better idea... the red... *whispers* isn't natural. I'm a blonde. I even have to be careful about what shampoo an conditioner I use or it will weigh my hair down too and just make it look oily.

That's all it took. Ariel just had her hair cut and brought me back a humongous braid of it--about 4 thick feet of it that would pull a truck out of a ditch. She's always been beautiful to me, but I'm feeling guilty about desiring this new woman with a kind of Tinker Bell pixie cut. She's in her 40's, but looks about 17 now. I told her I don't date juveniles. She says she doesn't date old men, either. Hmmm. Maybe if I put my hat at a different angle--

Or the lack of it, hair, that is! I have a bet with myself, that I will go bald before I can go grey.
I have very fine hair, and it used to be very thick. Now, I still have very fine hair, but getting thinner rather quickly. I have always had long hair (the pictures of me is actually shorter than normal for me), but I have come to the conclusion that I'm going to have to start keeping it very short, as it is impossible to manage and it just has no body. I always look like I need to comb it or something, which I really don't care to be. I feel vain, if I spend any time messing with my hair, thus my hair is usually a mess.
Heather, I have always been attracted to what I call the "pixie" style or cut. I love long hair on most women, but the pixie or bobbed (what ever it's called) is a real great look for some people. If it works, it's simple yet sophisticated at the same time.
BTW, you are one of those people that it fits so well. Thank goodness that you aren't a brunette or have raven black hair. That style in black, esp. really does something to me (I believe it has something to do with an old teenage girlfriend, which to this day, I haven't totally gotten over). Long story, not for here!
Oh, almost forgot. The cat (scratchy), was an ordinary house cat until your post asking if he were a bobcat. I took a close look at him, and kinda saw what you meant. Well, with a quick snip with a pruning loppers, about 1" back from his butt, it is fair to say, he is indeed, a "bobcat". I will post pictures, IF and WHEN, he returns home!

Bonsai, I think he is more of a semi-domestic lynx. I like all cats. We have one stray that arrived one day to create havoc, who calls herself "Me." But you have to pronounce it right. It isn't merely "Me," it's a screaming "MEEEEEEE!" The other cats loathe her and the dogs are all scared to death of her. She pays no attention to us except when I brush my teeth. She then likes to get on the sink and participate in the process by ripping the toothbrush out of my mouth and slobbering on it.

I chased Ariel around with the camera-to get a shot of her new hair cut. She refused to cooperate. The kids didn't help at all. They're on her side, so kept mugging in front of the camera. I'm chasing her around and she tells me, "For Christ sake, Lee, drop dead, you are a freaking idiot." I asked her if that means she still loves me. I believe in positive thinking.

Ah, I love the pics

And Lee, yeah, you look very different from what I pictured. I pictured you with shorter hair and a more Mediterranean look for some reason.

And good to FINALLY see what Derek looks like. I didn't buy the waxy frog look for a minute

I have some newer photos, too, and here they are:

Right after dying my hair, although it did fade to a lighter color by now, and I have a new haircut.

Some friends and I--I'm in the middle (and the shirt is decent, that's just a shadow if you think you see something)

Before the haircolor change

I might get some more online soon, if I do I'll post them. There are plenty on the computer, just not online.

since were all photo crazy lately, and I needed some portraiture practice. I took a few self portraits.

I think those'll be the last for a while though. I've had more than my fill of camera time now.

Oh yeah, finally put off getting a haircut today. About 6-8 semi-ratty inches of hair gone.

Wes....my my my...how lucky are you that I live in MI?? Seriously. Zoe would be having a little sibling REAL soon! We could have a little intense, witty, nerdy love child that was just too cool for school. I just don't think HOT covers it well...and sexy is an understatement (I've got a thing for vert. labrets). So we'll just settle for...Hot Day-um!

Short spikey hair... EW. Not any more. I had crew cuts and stuff till about 7th grade. Put my foot down, and my hair has been my own to play with since. Had a lot of hairdo's since then. Somewhere I have a picture from high school with a mohawk.

Wes, you have NO friggin idea...Been a bit over a year now, a very long, long year. I'm accepting applications, though, if you'd like to throw your hat in the ring. *smile* But management is not responsible for any muscle strains or carpet burns the participant may experience.

Heather, I'll bet he is a riot. One of these days when the kid gets older, I'm hopping states a bit to see some of you guys. It will be like visiting family. I wish we could sponser a little get together somewhere in the middle, and I'll even consider planing one after I plan my HS reunion. I'd love to meet so many of you in the flesh.

I could def. make it to Florida. My family goes every year, sans this one because of the baby. But that would be great for me. Anyone else?

I wouldn't be able to make it to FL. Too long a trip to do in one day and nobody to watch the critters. But a group meet would be freggin' awesome! I would try to make it but can't promise anything.
