This beauty I have raised since July of 2011. His name is Emerald. The greens pop out at me that is why I gave him that name. He changes color every so often. This frog is 11 months old.

The day he was shipped to me, he has put on some weight since:

Because this species changes colors. He had less red a few months ago. Then boom! I really enjoy his changes. Thank you Mh530. He eats great too!

how do they change color?
All frogs have the ability to change pigment. Depending on the mood of the frog and to match its surroundings.

Thank you Mad. I was jealous I did not have that frog for myself. She traded 300 Dubia roaches for that frog when it was a froglet.

My little fellow did not eat for a few weeks. He just ate a 7 inche nightcrawler a few days ago and is now burrowed catching some Zzzz's.

He just came out of his borrow last night. My frog is officially a year old this month of July!
