I'm super excited that they arrived well and hungry today at 10AM! I know it must have bugged them, but I just had to get a few snap shots.

First the pics of my fiancÚ's Ornate, Cornwallis (though we don't know if either are male or female yet...guess the name can change if it turns out to be female). Sorry for a little blurriness...but they are so small!

And now Herne the Horned Frog, the new baby fantasy pacman I got for myself! (Was totally not planned for but I just love him/her/it!)

They both ate about 2-3 crickets when they were settled into their temporary cages. We are QTing them, but they are our only terrestrial frogs so it's easy not to get them mixed up.

My fiancÚ is super excited and happy about the babies! I'm glad we both share a love of frogs, even if it's only this species so far.

That's a cranwells and a fantasy, no ornate there.

@Josh
Well that's entirely possible that they called it an ornate and instead gave us a cranwelli. But it's okay. We aren't really picky over the species. But thanks for giving us the heads up so we will know what we do have.

And yeah, Sandy, I'm loving the green. He gets dark green in the dark and nearly neon green in the light!

Pictures of it out and cleaned off would and I would be able to confirm 100%. The first 2 pics look like a cranwelli, and the 2nd 2 look like they could possibly be an ornate.

Real simple... does it have dots on the back of the eyes?

No, sorry my "Orbit" is not for sale. He was the first "fancy" frog I bought and I paid $90 for him. I live in Canada though, and frogs are quite a bit more expensive here then they are in the US.

The Frog Ranch sells Fantasy frogs, and it looks like they sell red ones as well, you could try contacting them

He does appear to have some kind of small dot on the back of his eyes but it's not dead center...it's almost to where the eyelid attaches to the head it's so far back on it...

Ornates will have one dot on the back of each eye.

Then I'm pretty sure he is an ornate. Thanks so much Big Hydro!

And the ornate is eatting a good bit and already growing. I dust all crickets I give them and gut load, so they get plenty of vitamins and calcium.

The fantasy is being a picky eater at the moment. I'm sure he'll warm up to it eventually. They both are starting to get used to us being around them and feeding them worms with forceps. It's exciting!

The first pictures looks like a cranwelli to me, but he is yellow or green?
Second picture is definitely a fantasy. Beautiful frogs by the way!

Thank you, GreggieFressh! He is green with some red and brown spots. He keeps himself pretty dirty so it's hard to get a picture of his colors in a good light. I don't want to stress him too much by getting him out at this stage since we've only had him a little while, but I hope to get good clean pictures after he's all settled in.

I love my fantasy frog, he's so unique looking, but just hoping he gets used to the forceps so he'll be as agressive an eater as Cornwallis is.

They are really beautiful frogs. The Pacman
is definitely on my list of desired species.

Awesome frogs! Welcome to owning a frog that will have substrate on its back most of its life. I enjoy this species as well.
