Look at this! March 11th and they're out already!

It's freezing out, I have NO CLUE how it's functioning at all. I could barely stand it out there!

Those funny things are dust and junk in my camera.

My new camera was on a shelf for awhile(It was 40% off at Circuit City. Couldn't pass it up.), so it's got junk in it. I'm hoping to have it cleaned tomorrow. I'm crushed that it ruined some of the pics though. I'd been so excited.

Oh! It seemed abnormally fat. Pregnant female, perhapes?

I told you I heard some peeping and chirping the other night! :O Nice pix anyhow, I adore that cute little face. x)

Locals always wind up around here anyway. I should see if any of ours are up yet, seeing as we're only so far away from you. x) I love frog watching.

ScurvyGoat and I are both from the Northeast USA. It's been really cold here lately but I heard frogs chirping and peeping outside a couple of times. Her find only confirms it!

I live just about as south in Massachusetts as you can go. We still have snow on the ground in some places. I get DOZENS of Wood Frog babies in the pool every summer. I have to wake up early and scoop 'em all out or else they die. =[ But... It is fun seein 30 lil tiny frogs hanging out in my chill-out tank. I keep 'em in some fresh water for a few hours to clean them off and then they go into the wood on the other side of the pond.

this just means spring is just around the corner, finally. I live in Maine and I know there are no frogs yet. I live near a bog that gets really loud during mating season, but I haven't heard anything yet. Not that listening for them. There's still 3 to 2 feet of snow on the ground.

too many frogs to list in the allowed space

Well it was nearly 90F a few days ago here. I'll have to look around soon and get some baby pools out for them to breed in instead of my dad's pool.

I wish I could get frogs at this time of the year! He's cute, just like a home boy! You guys have it nice, the temp here is going up and down like a yoyo! it was just about -30C here again today! I hate walking in that cold! No matter how much you move it still hurts! (in case you're wondering, that's way colder than 0F, which reads at just about -18C)
