Hi There,

I was just wondering if you need lights to keep frogs such as wood frogs?

Thanks,
Joh

you need day and light cycle as in you can't keep em in the dark all the time
but heat or uv light are not needed... if temps are fine

I live in a warm area, and the terrarium is in front of a window. So, the frogs would get indirect natural light, and therefore have a day and night cycle. would that be sufficient?

the only issue would be overheating indeed... lightwise it's perfect

Thank you very much. We have a lot of trees so the frogs would get very little heat. I kept my tank of ACFs in the same place but I wasn't sure whether or not terrestrial and arboreal frogs required more light.
