Ok, I am in the final stages of my terrarium set up for a green tree frog. Everything was going great until this morning. There was white fuzzy mold growing on some of my wood and ontop of some of my green sheet moss. I know the stuff growing on my wood is mold, but what about the stuff growing on my sheet moss? Are these new leaves or flowers of the sheet moss or mold? What do I do short of removing all the sheet moss and wood?

Leave it be, it should go away by itself in a week or so.

Just part of the ecosystem your creating. If your into fish, think of it as cycling for your aquarium.

the mold is a type of mychorizea, i think (i can't remeber how to spell the word) basically it is a fungus, and yeah it breaks down decaying organic material. so yeah it is okay. you can sometimes find it under logs in the woods or actually in the soil. they will work with tree roots actually (if it is the same kind i am thinking of) the will attach to tree roots and increase the surface area more nutrients for the tree. (again if it is the same kind i am thinking of).

So basiaclly it helps the tree get nutrients and take it's waste for food? Sort of a symbiotic thing.
