Hello, I have had my frog for three years now and he recently started making a clicking sound and has lost weight. He is still his beautiful green and seems somewhat energetic. I have done research online and it seems to be respiratory infection. The only vet that can help is unavailable for the rest of week. Idk what to do! Are there any temporary remedies that can prevent him from getting worse?

We moved to a new place 4months ago and ever since he has lost the weight. Before his terrarium was in my bedroom and when I moved I put him in the living room. I don't know if this caused him to get lonely.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Can you be more specific? Is he open mouth breathing?
He needs to see a vet, i lost a frog once to a URI and it died within 2 days.

Thank you for your reply.
Occasionally he will breath with his mouth open. sometimes he will leave it open for longer periods. The clicking sound started about three days ago, but now it's more frequent. I can tell that his breathing pattern has changed. It's a lot slower now. I made an appointment with a vet for tomorrow, but is there anything I can do for the mean time?

I guess I will wait until I take him to the vet. Thank you for the responses.
