Where are you located? You should catch the bird and place it in a cardboard box with some air holes, and place the box in a quiet, dark, warm place in your home. Do not attempt to force feed. You can give a small dish of water but I do not suggest offering anything else. Look up your state's Department of Environmental Conservation webpage for a phone number, and call to find out contact info for local wildlife rehabilitators. The bird needs to be brought to one so that it can be properly treated by a trained wildlife medical expert.

Exactly what he said. It doesn't need to eat, but stay warm and hydrated and not be too stressed.

He could be fine by tomorrow, maybe he just got a bit knocked out. I'd open the box in the garage and see how he's doing tomorrow, he may not need a vet visit. (open in the garage just in case he flies out)

call your local humane society.

i dont know about where you live, but the ones out here do not rescue animals that are not endangered, they just put things like pigeons to sleep.

The cats arent evil. They are just doing their natural behavior. The people that let them out are the evil ones. I own 2 cats and I would never let them roam free outside, and then come inside and sit on my stuff and rub on me. Nasty. Not to mention I would worry way to much about my cats if they were outside running around.

If I had some acreage in the country I would let my clawed cats roam free. They are free spirits. It isn't evil if you live in the country to let your cats roam.

However, it isn't right to let them out in the middle of a city with traffic and crazy people.

Cats kill birds as prey. It is natural instinct. To hate cats or call them evil because they follow their natural instinct is wrong. It would be like hating frogs for eating bugs.
