Sometimes it takes some time for others to respond. It's the weekend and everyone may be busy.

As for your tads, if they are all still alive now then it should be ok.

Mix a batch of treated water (the stuff you put in fish tanks) now and give it a couple hours then change your water. Rince off the plants with the treated water as well. If you swish them around in a big bowl with the treated water you should be able to get the buggies off.

How big is the container you have the tads in and where did you get them?

If you got them from a pond you may want to collect that pond water and put them in that then over the next few days start mixing the pond water with treated water and little by little start adding more streated water than pond water.

i got them from a fish shop in the suburbs. what i did is i washed out the dirty tap water and filled it up with filtered water, while is was doing this i transfered the tads into a small bowl with filtered water but then after i placed them back into the big bowl. But i think i forgot to rinse the plants with filtered water!!! oops!!! they seem happy though...thing is they just stay sooo still in the water that it freaks me out and i think they're dead but then they come alive again!!! oo the bowl is about...6 0r 7 inches tall and about 9 inches wide but when they turn into frogs i'm gonna get a tank that's about 3/4 meter long.

They sound like they are fine. Just get a bottle of water treatment to remove the added chemicals that the filter is unable to remove and add that to the next water change. You can also age tap water 24 hours. Fill a container with HOT tap water and let it sit over night, this will help release the gasses in the water and cleans it out.

Yeah, tads can freak you out a bit at times. They tend to hang verticle with only the very tip of their tail moving.

Do you know what kind of frogs they are?

Yeah, filtered water doesn't take out chlorine or anything like that that kills them.

Well, it's terrible. You can't have chlorine in the water for fish or amphibians. It kills them. It's only in tap water to kill germs, so animals that breathe or absorb water are killed by it.

They sell drops at any pet store to get rid of it.

OR, you can just buy bottled spring water, but that's a whole other story because some say not to use this brand or that one, but I don't think any will kill your pets like chlorine will.
