if your frog isn't doing well, adding any other animals will just worsen it
try finding out what the problem is instead
is temperature ok?
clean water provided?
proper hide spots?

Mixing species in general is not safe. If your frog is healthy and you add another whites that may not be healthy you risk losing yours.
Quarantine is for observation. Never add another frog without a 30 dat qt period.

Nature has no mercy, people have the option.

some frogs will need several days or weeks before feeling safe in the enclosure
it will obviously chill out in the safest spot, usually a spot when you can't really see it but that's pretty much the goal, isn't it

once it feels safe, it might choose more of a central spots in the vivarium, so it has a global sight on everything, kindo
but then again, it really depends on the frogs, setup and room ambiance
if you have a cat, he might be staring at the vivariums which definitely stress the frogs out

thos spams are really annoying...
whoever built those shit should get shot in the face X_O

Try papering the sides of the tank? 2 weeks isn't very long, I've had frogs that stayed hidden throughout the majority of the time I had them.

Noise, over-handling, fast movement, predatory animals looking in the tank, that's just a starter list of things that could cause your frog to be skittish.

Only time will tell, as long it's healthy and eating, I wouldn't sweat it hiding yet (or at all).

We can never go back to the way it was...
