I was told this stuff works well and want to give it a try, but i do not know the difference between the two or if there is a difference? Also....those who use this stuff, where do you get it? I used to use a product called Healthy habitat by Natural Chemistry, but the product spoiled or something. there were clumps of shit in the gallon and it stunk to high heaven. Thanks for the advice

what are you using it for?

we use nolvasan (chlorhex) as a surgical scrub at the clinic I work at. I believe it has antibacterial/antifungal properties in it. it works against bacteria, fungi, etc

it is good for scrubbing up ringworm...

I think virosan is a generic version of nolvasan. pretty much the same thing. I think it is suspose to be "active" and continue doing what it does for more than 48 hours after you use it. This kinda worries me a bit.
I remember talking to a few on DB about it and they felt the same way.
I would use it with my other animals cages just not my frogs which are much more delicate

Nothing. Just the name..They are both chlorahexidine. 3-4 oz. per gallon of water to clean and sanitize.
