Took a video tonight of our baby silver arowana, he's eating some crickets and has a huge fish-belly on him. I think he's gotten bigger already

Come to think of it Bill, I had a Red & White Oranda Goldfish that we named after Cartman. Well, we called her "Eric" as Cartman was too obvious, lol... She was quite stunning until my 2 male comets tried to rape her

Sandy, did you happen to watch the other videos on that you tube page? Really cool, eating a rabbit, you do realize they get big right? And then harvesting and hatching eggs.

Oh yeah, I know that they get that big. We've been wanting one of these guys for the last 2 years now, but put it on hold until the BF is almost done school. After he's done school, and has a F/T job, then we plan on getting a really big tank, like 350 gallons or something in that range.

Arowanas are pretty neat, some will even come up to you and let you pet them. And the babies, if fed properly/regularly can grow 2" every month in the first year or so.

Nice vid.

I miss my silver arowana. Truly an awesome fish.
I had a couple of silver arowanas that my brother gave me back in the day and he kept silvers and blacks. (I don't think the blacks are still in the trade/hobby anymore....at least I remember hearing talks of them becoming"illegal" in the 90s)
