I am getting ready to leave for a three day venture for work Out of state in Pennslyvania, which means setting my tanks up on timers and stuff, so yes...there is a lot going on. Last night we had a massive rain storm, flooded the basement with two inches of water (no the sub pump is not in yet), which is just another problem to deal with. So while I was standing in this water pool and fiddling with the timers, my thumb accidentally got near the live plug and sent a jolt of electricity through my arm. I was swearing....loudly, and still now thirty minutes later I can still feel a numbness in my arm. I don't know why I am telling everyone this just thought I'd get it off my chest.

Sounds like Wick has invented something else, in line with his Mc Guyver persona, The Wick Group De -Fibulator 5000

Wick, we have ALL felt the pain of electricity. Its part of the fun.

The best for me was back when I worked @ a Petstore in Maine, I was about to pull some corals and went two hands into the tank. I felt like someone had come from behind and grabbed me by the shoulders. I landed on the floor and mutterd something. The customer said I looked like and sounded like Jar Jar Binks. All I remember is the smell of the air. Wicked!!

Super fun.

I felt the pain back in grade school while plugging in the overhead projector for the teacher. I can still remember it VERY well to this day. I saw the spark jump then I was sent flying! I was pushed back probably a good 10 feet and just sat there completely stunned LOL I got to go home early that day! Imagine that happening today!!! oooh the law suits that would follow these days.

I can even remember that everything smelled kinda burnt to me for a couple days LOL

Glad you didn't get seriously hurt there Wick! Be careful!!!
