So I'm in my hotel enjoying some chicago style pizza, the show was great today, as always spent more money than I intended to, but was well worth it. Coming home with

4 Hourglass Tree frogs (already have a calling male)

Male dotted african house snake

Pair of poss het Xanthic Pictus geckos (One has the best striping I've ever come across

Pair of Albino checkered Garter Snakes

An awesome Phelsuma grandis baby

And a nice orange striped Gargoyle Gecko.

Thought I would be coming home with more frogs but that obviously didn't happen lol

Pics por favor?

I've been in the sallie "mood" lately. Wish they were "legal" here. You should have got the newt. You guys have Shrom out east, lucky!

I want some garter morphs as well. Always have.

Can't wait to see the house snake.

Pizza and no beer? That's sacrilege! JVK

Wish i could have stuck around. The g/f made plans for sat night with her sister without asking me first. That Will not be happening next year i promises you that.

The hourglass frogs were tempting mike. Were they from ed k line

first time in about 6 years i left with no animals. But i have 4subadult eldorados from Phil waiting to be shipped so that makes up for it

Really nice.

I want some snakes again, ha, ha. Love the garters and house snake, I myself have always wanted some black garters.

It seems by now your house should be overflowed with tanks...

Everything looks real good JVK

PS If anybody got any Rhino Rats I'd love to see pics, they've been on "the list" for years lol.

Yea I like my snakes too kinda picky though not a big fan of pythons, corns or milksnakes...Like Rosy's, Sand boas indian/russian/kenyan etc., Garters,Hogsnakes and rats.

I almost picked up some Oregon red spotted garters at show as well, so much to buy....

It seems by now your house should be overflowed with tanks...
Yea seems like tanks are flowing out of the reptile room, hopefully when I graduate I can use the VA Home loan and get me a place with a basement...

My native garters are incredibly red. Quite pretty. What's the latin on the "Oregon red spotted garters" you saw?

Ours should be holed up for the year, so pics of my locals couldn't be available 'til next year. JVK

Just for fun, and for boredom's sake. Here's a pic of nice 'lil rattler my crew found this summer:

And one of the dumbasses playing with it. I screamed 'til my throat hurt "TO PUT THE DAMN THING DOWN!" My ass would have been grass if anybody got bit.

I told them them not to kill it. But after I left they promptly beheaded it for the "safety of humanity".

Our local rattlers are restricted to a very, very, few locales. They are declining, and are inevitably killed on sight.

Sorry for the thread hijack david, but thought you might like the pics. JVK
