I got this new calcium dust 4 my FBTs and it is called "ReptoCal" and it says for all reptiles, not anything about amphibians. Is is okay if i use it to feed my firebelly toads? i haven't dusted their other crix with it yet because i wanted to check with you guys.
so is the ReptoCal (not reptocal plus) okay for FBTs????
thanks appreciate it,
Glory

I alternate feedings with RepCal and Herptivite. They are usually sold together.

considering its fbt's we're talking about it'll probably be fine. never a good idea to buy first and ask questions later though... I used to use Reptocal for wc anoles because I got free samples of it from a vendor. Once that ran out... I never bothered with it again. Rep-cal and Herptivite works well for most of your herps, I would recommend it to anyone.

Shhhhhhoe
Don't blame the question when you're the stupid one.

i ve heard some many stories about all those stuffs... dont know what to beleive or neglect anymore
personally, i rarely dust but most of my animals have a staple of dubias+crix and are often offered bean weevils, FF, springtails, random worms depending on the size
i dust for my darts obviously tho, but they ll soon be eating tiny dubias and crix too so yeah

repcal and herptivite is what is the most recommanded, usually
but like i say, i recall someone talking about an issue with vit a or something like that ...
i would think that reptocal is the same thing as repcal tho
they will rarely state amphibians because the hobby is just too small compared to reptiles ;) but most stuffs are fine.. NOT ALL THO............ some meds for exemples are good for reptiles, deadly for amphibians!!
