I was planning on breeding my oophaga pumilios and was going to sell them for around 60 bucks a piece. I was wondering if anyone would be interested.

Most members here have specific, well established breeders that they get their critters from. You will have better luck on perhaps the Fauna classifieds (http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/) (we aren't really a "for sale" site since many members are from Europe or Canada... places you would not be able to ship to)

You left out a TON of information. First off who are you? most people aren't going to trust someone with only one post or no real name. what locality? Where did they come from? how long have you been working with frogs? where are you located? have you ever shipped before? do you have pictures? I could come up with another dozen at least but lets work on these for now.

My apologies. I've been working with frogs for awhile now and my name is Gianni. I'm from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania and got the frogs from backwaterreptiles.com. I haven't tried to breed them yet because I wasn't sure if I would be able to sell them. I've shipped before and can ship anywhere in the continental USA. I was just seeing if anyone would be interested in purchasing a few. Thank you for the constructive criticism.

Judging by the description it sounds like they are selling mixed localities (what they call morphs), because of no guarantee of locality you will be hard pressed to find many dedicated froggers willing to purchase. Many more would argue against it, as you may be mixing localities which is strongly discouraged in the dart frog community

If a pet store says it, it must be true right?

I contacted the owner before purchasing them and they are all standard morph. I can assure you wouldn't be receiving and cross between a bastimento and an escudo. I haven't actually bred them yet but I wanted to see if there were any interest in them.

I apologize for my ignorance they are all Almirate.

I have no clue where they came up with " standard moprh" . Never heard that one before. I guess they mean just a red pumilio which there are quite a few forms of and almiranti is one of them.

Also if your keeping them under acceptable conditions you won't need to try and breed them. They will most likely do it weather you want them to or not.

I have them separated because I don't want them to breed if I'm not gonna be able to do something with them because unfortunately I don't have the space required to house more.

Just let natural selection do its things.
60$ a piece for almirante sounds like a good price in Canada, not sure you will get demand in USA tho.. not the nicest pums out there imo!!
Bastis, escudos, cayo de agua much better ;)
