A good friend of mine gave me his pixi frog about two weeks ago. I really dont know much about them. I have a pacman frog. Well like three days ago I noticed that his eyes were closed. I can see his eye but it has the clear film over it and they are not opened all the way. I looked around the eye and it looks ok there is nothing on them. Im really worried. Please help me I dont want to loose the little guy.

Sounds like he is trying to sleep.

What's the set up like? Size of tank, frog, age, temps, humidity, diet, last meal, last poop, etc

But like I said I just got him and he is in a cage with my pacman frog with a divider until the end of the week than he is going in his own cage. i spray them twice a day the humidity stays between 70 and 80... he also didn't eat today. When I first got him he was really spunky and moving around now he is just sitting there. I don't think he is trying to sleep because it has been like 3 days. I don't know.

You need to read up on the pyxies. They go long stretches at a time without eating or moving....sometimes for months.

I have a female that has been sleeping for nine months now.

I can't really tell much by the pics, but if you want to you can soak him in a bowl of warm(not hot) water for about 15 minutes or so, and see if that helps any. Can he see the other frog while he is in the tank? If so, then cover the divider so they can not see each other.

Yes they can see each other but they have been like that for like approx 6 months at my friends house. How deep should I put the water? Like right under his nose. When I pick him up he moves a little. That's crazy they sleep that long. I didn't know that. I know I have to read more about him. Thank you for your help. There is this really great reptile store close by where I got my pacman, I am going to call tomorrow and speak to them they know there stuff....

I used to have a Dwarf Pixie too. Mine really liked to spend a lot of time in the water. You still have another one right? You should get it the largest water dish you can. It should be deep enough that the frog can completely submerge itself. Tupperware also works great for a temporary soloution and so does Pyrex/Anchor bakeware (glass baking dishes) either casserole/cake/loaf pans will do the trick.
