Im thinking about adding a ball python to my wonderful collection and was just wondering if any of you guys happen to know how much a ball python would generally run at an expo... I plan on going to the new england expo in july and need to map out my approximate cost for this venture i already have a ten and a 30 gallon tank and tons of extra stuff from all my frogs all i need now is some clamps a few hides and of course the snake
thanks
sorry for the once again long post

I paid $100 for mine, it's a a normal morph. I live in Canada though, so the costs of exotic animals are usually higher then what is for sale in the US. I got mine from a pet shop also, so again I paid more then what I would have probably paid if I got it from a breeder.

Iv seen them for as low as 30$ for normal ones that were only a few months old
you could pay anywhere from 200- "a whole lot more" though for different color/pattern mutations
I suggest trying to find one thats at least 200 grams so you know its got a good start

yea im absolutely in LOVE with ultramels but i dont have thousands (or hundreds) of dollars to spend so i guess ill just get a normal morph ... is it significantly cheaper at an expo or is it about the same in a pet store

Two very nice choices bill except pieds are a bit spendy . of the co-dom color mutations butters are my favorite I think. Got a stunning young male for 200$

If my Pieds produce this year I am sure I be very competative with pricing.

I absolutely love pieds I just assumed they would be expensive and ultramels are a relatively new mutation i believe, they are absolutely gorgeous
