Agreed. I acquired a pair as my first PDFs a few years ago and I have found their colors and their behavior fascinating.

Although, I used to live in Panama, so I I think Atelopus zeteki might be my number one most coveted frog.

There are a bunch of cool Atelopus toads...
I totally agree about the pdfs....I have kept 7 species/morphs and have to say that they are my favorite "pet" frogs. In fact, my Dendrobates leucomelas are my favorite herps that I have ever had.

There are some pretty good threads about the recent imports over on DB.

have heard that kingsnake is really good on prizes. But, do they send you sick and nonheathy frogs?

Haven't heard of any prizes from kingsnake....its essentially a forum like this one. The classifieds are more extensive, thats why people check them out. The quality/health of frogs depends on many things: the source (cb vs. wc), the seller (a breeder, reseller, importer, etc...), the type of frog (some are hardier/more disease resistant than others), and even how the frogs are packed for shipping (avoiding extreme cold or heat, getting jostled about or being too cramped). If you look at the BOI on faunaclassifieds.com you can see if people have had a good/bad experience with a certain seller. The best way to get healthy frogs is to buy from a seller with a good reputation. Do not be afraid to ask for pictures of the frogs, even pictures of the parents if the frog is cb. You can ask for references, most reputable sellers will have plenty of satisfied customers. Good Luck.
