Guys, finally after trying for about 3 months I finally managed to breed Leptodactylus savagei. (Not to confuse with L. pentadactylus, which were recently thought to be the same)

I think judging by the countries where this frog lives (Costa Rica, Panama and a very small place in Colombia) that I am the first one to ever breed this frog in captivity.

Am I wrong???.

Have pictures?
Do you have eggs right now?
What are you going to feed the tadpoles?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leptodactylus_savagei

The picture I uploaded my self but that is not the father.

The eggs had already hatch and the tadpoles are about one week old. (I got about forty of them)

The breeding off this frog is very sophisticated because the tadpoles can develop up to froglets inside the foam.

That wiki page reads like a fourth grader wrote it and wiki isn't really reliable.
I would do as much research as possible on how they live in their natural habitat. Good luck.
Maybe contact someone who has breeding experience.

I remember seeing them under a common name, smokey jungle frog a while ago for sale on fauna or kingsnake, they claimed to be Cbb.
No telling if that was savagei or not. Smithsonite did some research in 2002, it read like they bred them in studying the tadpoles but I didn't get that far into the article.
Get a lot of algae wafers!!
