Any special care to recommend? I was out 'herping', visiting a certain certain pond three days is a row. Friday (16 March) I kept seeing Northern Leopard Frogs and in a certain area. Saturday (17 March) I saw several of what I first thought were a certain kind of algal growths until I looked a bit closer. Take a look.

I am agreeing with you and others on a different board that I should not have taken them. I wanted to educate some people about amphibian eggs, but did not make myself a good example while doing so. There were five or six masses total, and I took the smallest mass I saw.

They are hatching, by the way. Very warm Spring here--high of 87 deg F (about 30 or 31 deg C) so things are going very fast in frog breeding and development.

all I know is that these frogs are not good captive species... they need pretty large enclosure!!! good jumpers...
I get to see some in my pond when I am lucky!

I've had this spring peeper for over 4 years..!
