I have a filter that looks like a water fall in my tank, and when the water comes down the side, it makes a small splash. This wouldn't be a problem if it weren't for the white spots it leaves when it dries. I've tried using a wet paper towel but it just dried and came back. Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Razor blade!!! Wet it down with some warm water and just scrape it off the with the blade! It'll clean it right up for ya! (I do this every couple of months because I will get the spots just from misting)

It's mineral deposits, and egesta from the water, as Heather said, that is the easiest way.

We can never go back to the way it was...
