I have two green frogs, which I have been keeping for over two months in a 20 gallon, half water half land. I follow these guidelines:
http://www.grizzlyrun.com/pets/amphibians/frogs/gr een_frog/default.htm

My tank design is:
Large rocks in the middle of the tank, one side of the rocks, gravel and smaller rocks (All of which are boiled during every cleaning of the tank), then a layer of moss on top of the gravel, and plants on one side of the moss forming a forest, along with a rock cave. There are store-bought plants in the water, and I refresh 50% of the water, 2-3 times a week. I was wondering if I should try to get a divider for my tank, so the water does not mix with the moss/gravel, thus meaning I use less water, and the smell during clean-out (I only get introduced to the smell during clean-out) is not so bad? Also, my frogs sometimes go under the moss. How can I prevent this? Any suggestions, tips, etc? Also, are there other, more efficient habitats that require less work during and before clean-out?

My Amphibians:

2.0.0 American Bullfrogs
2.0.0 Pacific Chorus frogs
1.0.0 Long Toed Salamander
