Sooo I went to turn out our white lipped tree frog Terrarium light the other night and I saw one white mushroom.. Is it okay for mushrooms to grow in there? And how do they get there?

The mushroom is perfectly fine in there, and if it's large enough then your frog may enjoy sitting upon it. I've had them in my terrariums before and nothing bad has happened.

The mushroom spore was probably already in a piece of wood or in the substrate or in simply in the air when it settled in you tank. Mushrooms release these spores by the millions, each one as small as a speck of dust. You can't avoid them if your tank is usually kept very moist. It's fungi you need to worry about. They eat at the wood much more than simple mushrooms. You can tell them apart by the shape: fungi will spread across a surface like a carpet; the most common for terrariums are white or yellow in color. Both fungi and mushrooms come with the territory.

They normally come from using wood in your viv. Most of mine pop right out of the driftwood. They don't last long though so enjoy while you.can
