Today i was outside with my frog letting her play like usually. She likes to go conceal herself in a hollow part of a tree trunk outside my house. As i went to pick her up to take her back inside i saw a spider on the side of her head biting her. I quickly removed the spider and threw it down. It wasn't very large at all. My frog is an american toad. The typical outside frog. She seems to be acting fine, but i am nervous for her well-being. im going on a trip for a week, and my grandma will be keeping her.. so i wont be there to keep an eye on her. is there anything i can do? or anything i should tell my grandma to look out for? Thanks for any help!

frogs are not pets that are meant to be toted around like dogs and cats... they stress easily and are meant as " look but don't touch" only..

taking your frog outside means exposing it to disease, predators, etc.

frogs are not self aware and do not "play".

as for the bite, all you can do is keep a watchful eye on it.
