the british ruled over most of american for years until the war of independance
2 cats (biscuit,buttons)
2 hissing roaches (gromp,rhina) thanks to matthew polver
1 praying mantis(miyogui)
1 dog (jinty)
1 american green tree frog(kermit)
10 fish (marine)
2 guinea pigs (speedo,silver birch the 2nd)

That's a better statement, still needs some serious rewording though to be passable but I'll give you that they ruled the eastern colonies for a good 17 years before the Colonies declared independence in 1776.
In case you wonder why I say 17 years, Britain did not secure North America from the French until 1759 when General Wolfe defeated Marquis de Montcalm near the outskirts of Quebec. Also just to stir the pot more, in terms of land area Spain occupied more of the U.S. than Britain at the start of hostilities.

we suck at history, math, and P.E. in school.
Living in Japan, Japanese people think Americans are all big people, they're surprised that I'm American because I'm also Asian. They think American's are white or black.
They assume that Americans know every aspect of the English Language including all gramatical points no matter how obscure.
American's like big things.
American's all own guns.
Flipping the coin, I was surprised to learn that not all Japanese women are hot high school girls with squeaky voices.

shoe i was thinking the same thing the other day about the japanese thinking we are big a few days ago but never got around to posting it. i would also like to add during ww 2 we were called the jolly green giants due to the uniform color and our size.

could you explain that to me i have know i dont who or what that is
and sh0e its very rare for an english person to oown a gun a gun you need a lot off paper work to have oneit even illegal to carry a knife in the streets

During the Civil War our Northern brothers fought against the Sisters of the South for Teddy Grahams and Lamps. It was a horrible event that lasted dang near 36 years till one day the Sisters (always the more level headed ones) found a secret planet of Lamps and Teddy Grahams and were rewarded for their effort by the Northern Boys.
That's how we got the Statue of Liberty and Santa!

I may have mentioned this, but I had a comic strip I was developing called Big White Pig.. It is what we are thought of, so we don't take offense to that. We buy it up, dig it up, eat it up..what ever it takes. We are like the wild hogs in HI..digging, rooting till it all looks like a giant mud pit. Then, we move on.
Someday we will learn. Pigs are smart.
