Perhaps you should just try keeping easy frogs for a while, and build up your knowledge base and confidence. Firebelly toads are very easy to take care of, and have sparkling little personalities--they are lively and fun to watch. They are also active during the day time, when more humans are awake.

Don't give up. I don't know what kind of tadpoles you had, but perhaps you were trying to do too much too soon. Frogs are pleasurable pets to keep.

I agree with Gracehoney, don't give up yet. I once had 20 firebelly toad tadies and by the end of their first week they were almost all dead! It was a nerve-racking experience but I didn't give up trying. Now I have 7 healthy CA treefrogs that are doing fine. The reason yours died might be the PH or they could have been just stressed out.

If you really want to stop raising tadpoles for a while I suggest trying a green treefrog, which are one of the easiest pet frogs to keep.

Don't feel bad, it's just a learning experience.

I agree with Gracehoney as well. I would suggest a sturdier breed like maybe a pacman or firebelly until you figure out what you're doing and get more experience. Those have simple setups and are generally good eaters.

I would love to see a list of these 30 "breeds"

Also are you affiliated with Big Apple? If so can you find out why they charge twice the market value for many of their frogs and why their "cb" offerings strangely mirror what is on current import lists? Thanks a bunch!

I'm eating a bowl of tads right now. Tads and oats.

I like to freeze my tads off, then plop them in a friends soda...
Now get this,
Its funnier if its a clear soda, they can see them better! Huh? Funny?

Have you tried mating hamsters? Or geese? Canada is known for both.

Well, when I get home, I like to unwind, slip out of my steal toe flip flops and skinny down to my under britches. I slide on over and across my cool, deep, rich Corinthian tadpole leather sofa.. Ahhh. The fine canvas only nature can provide by a 100 million tadpoles.

Rich. Bold. Beautiful..

You said you've had 30 different "Breeds" can we ask what happened to them? You said you were tired of dead frogs. Frogs don't make frogs dead ....people make frogs dead. Im with FwoGiz...I'm calling for an age check.

I'm calling for a back off... okay? Age is irrelevant and "proof" is not needed unless you had plans to purchase

In other words... drop it
